Updated: May 31, 2022

On February 25, 2022, the Victoria Jubilee Hospital (VJH) received a new DC-30 ultrasound machine, valued at approximately US$18000 from Women without Blemish Ministry of the Liberty for Living Ministries International and Sparke Foundation, Texas. The machine is expected to generate high-definition images, scan and detect abnormalities and complications in the foetus and perform other functions in a more efficient manner to ensure the safety of the mother and unborn child.

Prior to the donation, the hospital had two ultrasound machines. This newly donated machine will be housed in the triage area. Pastor Marsha Wade, co-founder of the Liberty for Living Ministries International, along with her husband, Pastor Rowan Wade, presented the machine to the medical staff at the hospital.

Dr. the Hon. Juliet Cuthbert-Flynn, State Minister of the Ministry of Health & Wellness thanked the donors for the machine. She added that the machine will go a far way to assist the management of the hospital.
