The Grennell's Road Safety 5k Run, Walk, and Roll is an annual initiative dedicated to promoting road safety awareness and bringing attention to the victims of road crashes while simultaneously raising funds for charitable causes. With road crashes being a pressing concern, it is imperative that we join hands to foster a culture of safe driving and pedestrian awareness.
Th Grennell's Driving School will be hosting a series of events which will include a Remembrance and Candlelight Ceremony at Mona High School, providing a moment for reflection as we remember those who have been victims of road crashes on Saturday, August 17, 2024, after the race.
Proceeds from this event will be directed towards supporting the invaluable work of the Sir John Golding Rehabilitation Centre, and the Mona High School. The Sir John Golding Rehabilitation Centre which is commemorating its 70th anniversary plays a crucial role in providing essential care and rehabilitation services to individuals who have suffered injuries from road crashes, contributing significantly to their recovery and well-being. Past beneficiaries of this event have included the Percy Junor Hospital’s Accident & Emergency Unit and the Fire Brigade.
