Port Morant Health Centre Renovation/Upgrade
Project Location: Port Morant, St Thomas.

Project Description: General renovation and upgrade of the Health Centre.
​
Scope: Retiling, repainting, replacement of fixtures and fittings, and roof repair, construction of patient waiting area, landscaping and paving.

Cost: JA$27,703,500.00

Funding Source: National Health Fund
​
Current Project Status: 92% Complete.
Major items of work on the main building and the extension substantially complete. Additional works underway inclusive of:
Paving, landscaping, roof repainting; water storage facility improvement; correction of identified defects.

Projected Outcome/s: Completion and re-operationalisation of the health centre as a modernised, fit-for-purpose facility delivering health care to the target clientele with enhanced capacity, efficacy and reliability.
Yallahs Health Centre Renovation/Upgrade
Project Location: Yallahs, St Thomas

Project Description: General renovation and upgrade of the Health Centre.
​
Scope: Retiling; repainting; replacement of fixtures and fittings and ceiling repair, construction of patient waiting area, landscaping and fencing

Cost: JA$21,779,667.00

Fencing in progress; internal refurbishment in progress
Construction of outpatient waiting area to commence
Solution being pursued for relocation of pharmacy.

Linstead Health Centre Renovation/Upgrade Project

Scope: Reconfiguration of internal spaces; retiling; repainting; replacement of fixtures and fittings; roof repair, fence construction and paving

Cost: JA$11,921,900.00

Funding Source: National Health Fund

Current Project Status: 65% Complete
Paving and fencing completed; internal reconfiguration and repair/refurbishment work undertaken; roof repairs required prior to completion of internal works.

Next Steps: Completion of roof repairs (additional to original project scope). Continuation of work towards scheduled completion.

Central Village Health Centre Renovation/Upgrade

Scope: Repainting; replacement of fixtures and fittings; building extension and repainting, wall construction, gate construction and paving​.

Project Description: Construction of perimeter fencing together with landscaping of external spaces.

Scope: Site clearance; site preparation; erection of chain-link fence; making good works disturbed; landscaping.

Morant Bay Health Centre Roof Repair Project

Equipping of four (4) hospitals with modern digital X-ray machines with a view to improving the efficiency, speed of operation and quality of output in the process of undertaking X-rays and generating and analysing resultant imagery.

Site preparation; excavation and earthworks; application of asphaltic concrete pavement; making good works disturbed; clean up and site restoration

Construction of a concrete building to accommodate a new air compression and vacuum system that is to serve the hospital.

Site preparation, excavation and earthworks, substructure and superstructure construction, installation of fixtures and fittings, installation of services, finishes, site cleanup, and making good all disturbed works.
