Remembering Omar Francis

The South East Regional Health Authority Board is deeply saddened at the sudden death of our beloved patriot and exemplary leader who has positively influenced the lives of those he encountered.

Mr Francis, the Councillor/Caretaker of the Point Hill Division, St Catherine, was the people's friend and one-of-a-kind politician. Envisioning a prosperous Jamaica, he spent the greater half of his life committed to impacting communities and improving lives.

And through his sterling leadership, The Spanish Town Hospital and The Dr Kenneth Baugh Health Centre have made improvements in the areas of infrastructure and services, which will never be forgotten.

The Board of the South East Regional Health Authority and the Members of the Spanish Hospital Management Committee are truly thankful that he lived a purposeful life that was devoted to serving others and extends profound condolences to his immediate family, his division, colleagues, and thousands of dear friends.

May his soul rest In peace and let perpetual light shine upon him.
