KINGSTON, Jamaica. Thursday, June 15, 2023: Consumer Brands Limited (CBL), a leading provider of premium products, donated over 30 cases of essential cleaning supplies each, to the Kingston Public, Victoria Jubilee, Princess Margaret, and Spanish Town Hospitals. These hospitals fall under the management of the South East Regional Health Authority (SERHA). The handover ceremony took place on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, inside the conference room at SERHA’s Corporate Office, marking a significant milestone in CBL's commitment to making a difference.
During the ceremony, Ms. Jodi Hyatt, Brand Manager at CBL, expressed her delight in delivering premium brands that have a positive impact on communities. She stated, "Today, we extend our support to these hospitals because we believe that cleanliness and care go hand in hand, and through this act of giving, we strive to create a healthier and safer environment for all."
Ms. Jacqueline Ellis, Chief Executive Officer of Spanish Town Hospital, delivered remarks on the invaluable contribution of these donations to the hospital's laundry department, specifically in washing baby linen for the pediatric ward. She emphasized the significance of CBL's generosity in helping provide a hygienic environment for the hospital's youngest patients.
Ms. Shuwana Johnson, Public Relations Manager at SERHA, commended the timely support from CBL. She highlighted the importance of maintaining fresh and clean linen in healthcare facilities to prevent the spread of infections, emphasizing that these donations would play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous provision of quality care.
