Yallahs Health Centre Got Adopted by the Fosters

The Yallahs Health Centre, in St. Thomas was officially adopted by the D Terrence Foster Foundation Incorporation on Friday, May 13, 2022. The infrastructure is to be improved to meet the growing demands of the parish, said Dr. the Hon. Christopher Tufton, Minister of Health & Wellness during the launch.

Also, speaking at a ceremony for the adoption, Dr. Terrence Foster, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of D. Terrence Foster Foundation noted that the Yallahs Health Centre will see great improvements over the next 3 years through the adoption under the Ministry of Health & Wellness Adopt-A-Clinic Programme. Dr. Foster and his wife, expressed delight to be contributing positively to his home town that will benefit the residents and neighbouring communities in the parish. The Foundation also donated US$2000 worth of equipment including a laptop, 6 Paramed Stethoscope, 5 Basket for SPHYG, 5 Wall Aneriod Adult Blankets, 3 Facelake Pulse Oximeter and other items. In addition, the Foundation donated an A/C Unit for the dental unit. The Yallahs Health Centre is the second facility in St. Thomas to benefit from the programme.
