Vaccination Continues this Month for Infants and Children, Ages 0-12 Years



KINGSTON, Jamaica. Friday, November 4, 2022: The South East Regional Health Authority (SERHA) will continue its childhood immunization outreach activities throughout this month in the parishes of St. Thomas, Kingston and St. Andrew for infants and children from birth to 12 years old.


Parents and guardians are encouraged to take their children to the following health centres to receive their first or second dose of the Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) vaccine and doses of Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis (DPT) vaccine. Inactivated Poliovirus vaccine (IPV) will be offered to infants under 1 year old. Other vaccines will be available at these sites which the children are due or may have missed.


Parents and guardians of children are being urged to take immunization cards or passports. Details about the vaccination sites and times are below:
