Soft Launch of New Life, New Limb Intiative

The official soft launch of the New Limb, New Life initiative, which is one of the priority programmes for the Ministry of Health and Wellness was held on Thursday, June 8,2023. Dr.the Hon. Christopher Tufton, Minister of Health and Wellness; Mr.Wentworth Charles, Board Chairman, SERHA; Mr. Errol Greene, Regional Director, SERHA and representatives from the management team of the hospital toured the wards and the Physiotherapy Department of the Sir John Golding Rehabilitation Centre to discuss ward expansion and to also meet patients with limb defects. This New Life, New Limb has started to help Jamaicans who have lost a limb.
