KINGSTON, Jamaica. Monday, December 12, 2022: The South East Regional Health Authority is advising members of the public that yellow fever vaccine and other vaccines required for travelling will no longer be offered at the Comprehensive Health Centre (Slipe Pen Road) on Fridays but now will be be administered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:00am-3:00pm.
Persons can schedule their appointment by calling the telephone line at the health centre at (876) 317-9747. The cost for the dose is JA$1500 and a vaccination card will be issued.
Members of the public are be reminded that the yellow fever vaccine is safe and a single dose provides life-long immunity against the disease.
