KINGSTON, Jamaica. September 5, 2022. The South East Regional Health Authority (SERHA) has signed an agreement with Arel Limited on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 to supply, install and maintain a total of six X-Ray Machines to the following institutions at a cost of JA $453,448,559.67 Million:
• Bustamante Hospital for Children (to receive one)
• Spanish Town Hospital (to receive one)
• National Chest Hospital (to receive one)
• Kingston Public Hospital (to receive three)
This supply and installation process is expected to take place within the institutions over the next four to six weeks.
The mission of SERHA is to promote and safeguard the health of the Jamaican people in collaboration with individuals, group/agencies through the provision and monitoring of cost-effective preventive, curative, promotive and rehabilitative services delivered by adequately trained and motivated personnel. SERHA continues on this mission with 6 new X-Ray Machines that will enhance patient satisfaction and improve service delivery.
