SERHA's Hospitals Get Medical Supplies

The Kiwanis Club of Toronto and Spanish Town donated more than CA$5000 in hospital supplies to the Bustamante Hospital for Children, Princess Margaret, Spanish Town, Black River and Mandeville Hospitals. The supplies include 1,130 warm cotton blankets, 156 toddlers' socks, 2 bags of baby pampers, 6 boxes of adults pampers, 4 toddlers' wooden high chairs, 1 adult walker and 1 bath chair.

During the handover ceremony on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 inside the conference room at the Bustamante Hospital for Children, Mr. Derven Patrick, President of the Kiwanis Club of Spanish Town, representing Kiwanis Club of Toronto said that the Club is very delighted to be donating to these critical hospitals that offer quality care to the people of Jamaica.

Mrs. Ta'amra Irving-Strachan, Patient Affairs Manager, Bustamante Hospital for Children expressed gratitude to the donors for the much needed equipment that will be of great significance to both the staff and patients especially during this COVID-19 pandemic.
