Broken Main at Bustamante Hospital for Children Repaired

KINGSTON, Jamaica. Monday, November 14, 2022: The South East Regional Health Authority (SERHA) is advising the public that a broken water main has been repaired at the Bustamante Hospital for Children.

On Saturday, November 12, 2022, it was reported that there was a disruption in the water

supply due to a broken main. As a result, the water supply was turned off for two hours in

order to facilitate repairs. All staff, patients and stakeholders were notified of the

disruption.

The Regional Health Authority regrets the inconvenience and discomfort this incident may

have caused and assures that all efforts were employed to alleviate the problem.
