The Bustamante Hospital for Children (BHC) received an Ophthalmoscope valued at $275,000 from Eye Q Optical on Friday, October 29, 2021. Dr. Leighton Madden, consultant Ophthalmologist, BHC said that the equipment will allow the health team to provide a full comprehensive eye examination for infants under the age of 3 and children who are confined to wheelchair using the headsets and the portable lens. Dr. Aron Wohl, Chief Executive Officer, Eye Q Optical said that the donation of the much-needed equipment to the hospital is part of Eye Q Optical's 22nd anniversary celebration. He also said that the company is very pleased to be contributing to the children's hospital and he hoped that the equipment will go a far way in assisting the Ophthalmology Department.
