The South East Regional Health Authority is now in its eighth year of existence. Having survived the embryonic stage of life, which included the Health Sector Reform process, SERHA now strives to successfully implement and maintain programmes to ensure that the facilities are provided with the necessary resources for the adequate delivery of health-care services

Despite its many challenges, the Regional Office is committed to its mission and mandate – that of promoting and delivering quality health care to the Jamaican people. As such, through its recruitment process, the Region strives to attract skilled professionals to support effective and efficient medical and administrative services.

With much value placed on health education and promotion, our current focus is encouraging a healthy lifestyle, facilitating a move towards building a better and healthier tomorrow for all by our commitment to serve with diligence and equity.
