Motorised Wheelchair Donated to Sir John Golding Rehab Centre

The Sir John Golding Rehabilitation Centre (SJGRC) received a motorised wheelchair from the Simpson Family in Kingston on Friday, February 9, 2018.   The wheelchair, valued at US$5000 was officially handed to the hospital by Mr. James Simpson and his son Richard.  Mr. Simpson explained that he decided to donate the wheelchair, which was briefly used by his late wife Monica, to the Sir John Golding Rehabilitation Centre so that it can be put to good use.

Dr. Rory Dixon, Senior Medical Officer, Sir John Golding Rehabilitation Centre said the wheelchair will be used to train quadriplegic patients.
